Casamance (in Portuguese: Casamansa) is a historical and natural region of Senegal located in the south of the country and bordering the Casamance river. Considered by many to be the most beautiful region of Senegal and West Africa is located in the southwest of Senegal, between The Gambia and Guinea-Bissau. The visit takes place in a maze of arms of the sea, in the middle of hundreds of islands, home to thousands of birds. It is an exuberant world where lush vegetation surrounds you in the midst of rice fields and mangroves. With its beaches and orchards, Casamance appears like a garden of Eden.

Casamance (in portoghese: Casamansa) è una regione storica e naturale del Senegal situata nel sud del paese e al confine con il fiume Casamance. Considerata da molti la regione più bella del Senegal e dell'Africa occidentale, si trova nel sud-ovest del Senegal, tra il Gambia e la Guinea-Bissau. La visita si svolge in un dedalo di braccia di mare, in mezzo a centinaia di isole, dimora di migliaia di uccelli. È un mondo esuberante dove una vegetazione lussureggiante ti circonda in mezzo a risaie e mangrovie. Con le sue spiagge e i suoi frutteti, la Casamance appare come un giardino dell'Eden.
